Clincher is the clincher wheel model, which means there is no need to do without the advantages of an inner tube and cover. A flat can be repaired anytime by anyone. In use, the high profile of the four spokes provides for characteristics similar to that of a disc wheel. Under side wind conditions there is a light sailing effect  – and therefore propulsion. The active turbulator  (wave-shaped grooves under the carbon braking surface) provide for less wind resistance (comparable to the surface of a golf ball).

Braking is done on carbon. The carbon braking surface of MARK1 TT Tubular was developed for standard brake pads, special carbon brake pads are neither recommended nor are they required. The patented braking surface guarantees smooth and safe braking even in wet weather conditions.
